Perfect bound books are formed by a stack of printed text pages, glued into the cover at the spine with a strong yet flexible glue to create a square backed spine.
The other three sides of the book are then trimmed as needed to give them clean “perfect” edges.
Size: Any size is possible, but standard sizes are:

A6: Cover size 154 x 110mm Page size 148 x 105mm

A5: Cover size 216 x 154mm Page size 210 x 148mm

A4: Cover size 303 x 216mm Page size 297 x 210mm
Pages: White 80/90gsm paper, custom printed in one colour on both sides, with a common design throughout the book, with normally 50 or 80 sheets (100 - 160 pages) per book.

Options: There are plenty of opportunities to enhance the book:

special information pages can be added at any point in the book and it is possible to mix matt and gloss paper to get the best results for writing whilst getting high quality picture reproduction

soft feel outer laminate as well as standard gloss or matt

the cover is printed flat before assembly, so has the opportunity for different print options such as embossing.
